Klokd Browser Extension Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies only to the Klokd browser extension for supported browsers, including Chrome, Firefox, and Brave. It does not cover the Klokd Android app, website, or waitlist, which are covered by the main Klokd Privacy Policy.

The extension is developed and operated by MOHAMMED SHAMIL RAMLAN, an independent software developer based in Sri Lanka.

2. Information processed locally

To provide its features, the extension processes and stores the following information within your browser:

• websites or domains you visit and the time spent on them;
• configured usage limits and time-box settings;
• focus-session and website-blocking preferences; and
• other extension settings and preferences.

Browsing activity may be considered personal information, but Klokd does not receive, transmit, access, or remotely store it. The information remains in the extension's local browser storage.

3. Browser permissions

The extension uses the following browser permissions:

These permissions are used only for visible extension functionality. They are not used to read passwords, payment information, form entries, private messages, or unrelated page content.

4. No transmission or third-party sharing

The Klokd browser extension does not:

• connect to a Klokd backend server;
• send browsing activity or settings to Klokd or any third party;
• make external API calls;
• use AI services, analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising; or
• synchronize extension data through a Klokd account.

Your browser vendor or extension marketplace may separately process installation, update, security, or crash information under its own privacy policy. Klokd does not control that processing.

5. Data retention and deletion

Extension information remains in local browser storage until you remove it. You can delete it by using any clear-data option available in the extension, clearing the extension's storage through your browser settings, or uninstalling the extension. Your browser's own backup or retention behavior may apply independently.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if the extension's functionality, permissions, or data practices change. The revised policy will be posted here with an updated date.
